Until I went to school I had not realised how much my family were interested in nature. I thought that it was just the norm that one must know all names of every species under the sun. So to say a massive big thanks to my dad the man would get his three young daughters up at the crack o dawn to see, or should I say hear the dawn chorus.... a set of postcards for the everyman ornithologist. ( Featured above are the carrion crow and common thrush !)
